My parents blessed me this year with money to buy another lens for my camera. At first, I went to buy the 2x Extender II so tat I could double my 100-400 lens. Unfortunately it disabled autofocus, and with the speed I need for action shots, that doesn't work out for me. But to not be discouraged I bought the 100mm 2.8 Macro lens.

I've always enjoyed macro photography, but since I switched to SLR I haven't been able to really go hunting for macro objects. It's so far looking to be a good lens, so I'm hoping to put out some new photos shortly! :-D
